Yarmouth was founded in 1639. It offers many activities such as gift shops, restaurants, mini golf and much more along Route 28 and Route 6A offers beautiful views of the bays.

Bass Hole: Once a shipyard in the mid-1800s, Bass Hole is now a tourist attraction during the summer. People go to enjoy the beauty and walk down the Cape's longest boardwalk. Due to coastal erosion, weather and time, Bass Hole is now only accessible by boat. Located on Gray's Beach at the end of Center Street.

Yarmouth Herring Run: During the months of April and May herring fill these streams that run along the end of Long Pond on Gray Road.
